Monday Night at the Movies

Monday Night at the Movies (MNM) is a non-profit organization running in partnership with the Film Circuit, a division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. The Film Circuit now has more than 130 locations across Canada screening Canadian and international films in communities that otherwise would not have the opportunity to see them. MNM was launched in 1997 and is run by a committee of volunteers.

Tickets

Unless otherwise noted tickets to all films are $8.00, cash only, on sale in advance of each screening at BookLore and on MNM film nights at Galaxy Cinemas.

Subscriptions

A subscription to the current season, 11 films from September to May, is $75.00. Pass(es) will be given out when payment is submitted. While supplies last, all new subscribers will receive one MNM ceramic mug for each subscription they purchase, compliments of Monday Night at the Movies.

DVD's at the Library

MNM donates funds to the Orangeville and Caledon libraries to purchase DVDs of each season's films. The Orangeville library has films from season 4 onward, and Caledon from season 10. It's a great opportunity to re-visit old favourites and find new ones. Visit the Archive Page for a complete list of films shown by MNM.

Commencement Awards

MNM proudly offers annual Commencement Awards at three local secondary schools. These awards are given to deserving graduating students who have excelled in some area of filmmaking or the performing arts and who intend to pursue post-secondary education in one of these fields.
